The directly following process is a software run in the background – without impact on other components and any stint of other functions. Among other things, devices permanently located in the network, such as notebooks for home offices, are scanned.

Identify weaknesses

The core competence of VODIN – detect and check all types and locations of weak spots within the IT network. VODIN checks whether and which doors, even if only a crack, are open – existing security holes. Nothing more is happening. The door is not opened, i.e., the detected security breach (flaw) in the system remains unused.

Alarm

An alert is sent for the analysis of the security gap. The alarm can be set as needed – following each scan, daily, weekly or on occasion for serious vulnerabilities.

The report is automatically sent by email as recommendations for action. These provide an understandable working basis for employees or external IT service providers.
